Single-layer filter bags

The single-layer filter bags combines high water permeability with stable filtration against sediments.

Double-layer filter bags

For more demanding requirements, double-layer filter bags offer improved filter performance. The inner and outer bags work together to effectively retain dirt particles and ensure the long-term functionality of the drainage shaft.

High filtration performance, standard-compliant design

As part of our shaft accessories for sewer construction, filter bags are a reliable filter element for any shaft structure. They combine high filtration performance with standard-compliant design, are robust, durable and optimised for sewer and civil engineering conditions. While the single-layer version impresses with its ease of use, double-layer filter bags offer additional protection against fine particles. The geotextile ensures stability and consistent quality throughout its entire service life.

Frequently asked questions about filter bags

+

Are the filter bags compliant with standards?

Yes, our filter bags comply with DWA-A 138, Section 4, and meet all requirements for safe and standard-compliant filtration in drainage shafts.

+

What is the difference between single-layer and double-layer filter bags?

Single-layer variants are the standard solution, while double-layer filter bags offer finer filtration performance down to 70 µm thanks to the additional outer bag. This makes them ideal for soils with a higher proportion of fine particles.

+

What material are the filter bags made of?

All designs are made from high-quality geotextile using a needle-punching process. This ensures high stability and consistent filter quality.

+

What pore sizes are available?

Single-layer filter bags have a pore size of 100 µm, while the double-layer version filters up to 70 µm with the outer bag.

+

How high is the water permeability?

The filter bags achieve a water permeability of 0.13 m/s. Depending on the design, this results in a flow rate of 120–135 l/s·m² at a water column of 10 cm.

+

Can filter bags also be retrofitted?

Yes, they are suitable for new construction as well as for retrofitting in existing drainage shafts. This means that older systems can also be reliably equipped.
